Dear Former Rozan Residents, 18 February 2004 26 Shvat 5764

We are finally near the end of our historical campaign for completing the rehabilitation of our cemetery in Rozan. The intention is to perpetuate the memory of our forefathers, the Jews of the town, all traces of whom the Nazis sought to erase.

We wish to bring to your notice the preparations we are making for the trip to Rozan for the opening ceremony of the cemetery, with the participation of dignitaries from Poland, representatives of the Embassy of Israel, Rabbi Shudrich, Chief Rabbi of Poland, and others.

We request all former Rozan residents to make a supreme one-time effort and participate in this important and solemn ceremony. We have no doubt that this trip will remain forever etched in our memories
