WE REMEMBER SARA!
The "Matzeva" (Tombstone) of Sara Chaja, Gombin, Poland,
1905-1934

This unique picture of the tombstone of Sara
Chaja, was sent to me by her nephew, Dr. Martin Guyer,from the Album of his father, Avraham Chaja of blessed memory.
In the picture:
Down the right side are Joseph and Cirel Chaja .The child is Rivka Tatarka, Saul Tatarka (Holocaust survivor)'s sister.
Standling to her left side is Tante Blume Tatarka, the sister of grandfather Shmuel Chaja, grandmother of Saul Tatarka.
Standing to her right: Rajzel Tatarka, Saul 's mother.
Leaning over the matzeva: Benjamin Chaja (Ben Guyer).

The picture of Sara Chaja (to the right) with my mother, Rywcia Gostinski.
Sara Chaja died in 1934 from tuberculosis.
In the back of the picture is written in Polish:
"A meeting, in the woods of Gombin 1933".
