In Memory of the LUKSENBURG Family from GOMBIN, POLAND!
Once there was a small family in Gombin, who lived in Stary Rynek. Life was hard so one family member, Yecheskel Luksenburg moved with his family to
Lodz with his dear wife Feigele nee Holcman, my aunt. The rest of the family stays behind. Records of the family in Gombin is found in an Old Registry Book of Gombin, a large typical family in Poland. Yecheskel was a shojchet (butcher). 4 children were born: Balcza & Rutka & Eli-Haim & Perla. They were all murdered during Holocaust. They have no grave. Their memory was kept in my late father's mind only. Traces of this family was found in Ghetto Lodz Book, otherwise nothing, not even a letter, a document, a picture... And entries in a book do not cry, do not scream: HERE ONCE LIVED HUMAN BEINGS WHO WERE KILLED, AND STARVED AND BITTEN AND TORTURED AND CHOKED TO DEATH AND BURNT...Yecheskel died in the Ghetto on September
7th 1942. Fajgale and daughter Perla deported to death in Chelmno on September 11th 1942, where their soul was united with the rest of the Holcman/Luksenburg families from Gombin, murdered in the same place around 17-18 April 1942. No records about the fate of little Bajla and brother Eli-Haim. And where was GOD???Honor to their memory!

Dear Ada, November 5th
Re: Leibjus Luksenberg
Have you found any additional information on the Luksenberg family of Lodz,Poland?
I have received the birth records of my grandfather from the Polish Embassy in Washington, D.C.. I am still looking for birth records of his older brother. The embassy could not locate them. He died in WW I.
Thanks again for all of your help,
Rita Hoff
Dear Ada, 29.9.1999
I found your name through JGFF...
I have added Additional Data to the JGFF Database regarding family from both my Beloved Father's Side of the Family as well as my Beloved Mother's Side of the Family.
I added data for the Luksenburg Family in Zwolen, Poland in addition to Radom which I guess is actually where Zwolen is located, since I have done further research. Also, I added Data for my Mother's Family. The Lipschitz Family, originally from Siauliai, Lithuania.
If there is any further information you may need that I can provide you with I will be more than happy to work with you on it.
My Beloved Parents both reside in Margate, Florida within the United States of America. They moved to the United States in 1960 from Haifa, Israel.
My parents took me on a trip to Israel back in 1973, which was the year before my Bar-Mitzvah. My Father has what I believe to be, surviving cousins in Israel. I am not certain if they are still living though. I have very Fond Memories of the Land of Israel and very Strong, Vivid Memories of Yad Vashem.
Any Information you may be able to either provide me with about my Grandparents, if you have such information, I would IMMENSELY APPRECIATE.
Again, my Grandparents' names are ISAAC (YITZCHAK) AND ESTHER LUKSENBURG. They too lived in Zwolen, Poland, and according to my Father, they were SAVAGELY MURDERED by the nazi BEASTS in the Treblinka Death Camp during the on-set of WW II. That is all the information my Father has provided me with regarding my Grandparents' last know origin.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime either via E-MAIL:at markluks@nfis.com or via telephone

Respectfully yours,
